Advocate – Activist As an advocate and activist, my voice is expressed through various platforms and partnerships to raise awareness about domestic violence sexual assault, or other injustices to support victims. My voice being heard through articles in online news and podcasts falls under awareness and education.
Through articles being written and participating in podcast interviews, I aim to educate the public about the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault. Resources will be provided to survivors. Partnering with DV Victim Service Providers aligns with direct support and counseling advocacy. By collaborating with these organizations, I can contribute to providing emotional support, safety planning, and counseling for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Advocating for victims of family court domestic violence sexual assault and other social justice issues falls under policy and legal advocacy.
I work towards systemic change by advocating for policies and legal measures that protect survivors and hold perpetrators accountable. I’m seeking influential people who can provide a platform to allow me to do interviews to engage in community outreach and awareness. By participating in interviews I can assist in amplifying the voices of survivors and advocate for their rights in a public forum. Overall, my activism and advocacy efforts encompass different aspects of domestic violence advocacy, including direct support, education, policy reform, and community engagement.
