My name is Kirston Jarre’ Pittman. I Am an artist, songwriter, author, and ex-NFL player with the LA Rams. I wrote my first song at the age of 13 and I have been writing every since. I accepted a scholarship to LSU in 2003 and became the first 2-Time BCS National Champion in college football history in 2003-2004 and 2007-2008. After graduating LSU I signed with the then St. Louis Rams, now LA Rams as an undrafted free agent where I spent one year. While training to get back into football after being injured I got back into music, which I’ve always loved. I released my first project titled Scars of Success in 2010 and continued to release music periodically here and there not really giving myself a chance because I was still pursuing getting back into football. After an arena stint with the New Orleans Voodoo in 2012, I ended up starting a clothing brand called GRITS (Get Rich In The Struggle) while freestyling, driving in the car in Atlanta. In 2014 I formed GRITS INC and in 2017 I fortunated to be featured on Steve Harvey’s Funderdome on ABC for my clothing brand GRITS (Get Rich In The Struggle) where I was in competition with another contestant for a $10,000 prize. I did not win the prize although the experience was enough to fuel my fire to get going with the brand and message. In 2020 I released The Adventures of Stacey Starface which is an anti-bullying book and in 2023 I released two more titles, Flight School The Story of Nicholas Christmas, and The Man That Attained His Hearts Desires. Up next is the release of my self-produced, debut album Identifying Self which is to be released this holiday season. I Am currently involved with working with the youth and have started offering speed training services centered around football specific speed and agility drills. I Am looking forward to utilize what I have gathered through my years with the youth and the world alike.
